Kick Off Your Weekend With Cocktails at Jane Jane, Now Open Near Station House
A quirky, upbeat place to eat is one way to describe the new DC restaurant Jane Jane. The atmosphere alone will make you want to come back for more. It’s like stepping into an old subway station but with a fancy and elegant style. The urban restaurant got its start from a Puerto Rican entrepreneur, John Paul Sabatier, with a dream and continues to be a staple of his success.
John believes that the food and drinks he presents his customers are more than just cuisine, they are what truly brings people together. His menu is full of different styles and cooking methods to make sure everyone finds something that fits their taste. Customers seem to really enjoy the appetizers, such as warm marinated olives, freshly picked okra, and pimento cheese spread. Popular drink choices include the Anejo Manhattan, which is a trendy twist to the traditional Manhattan drink, the Espresso martini (which we think speaks for itself), and Lion’s Tail which is unique to Jane Jane; it encompasses bourbon, lime juice, allspice dram, simple syrup, and angostura bitters.
